Physically, Hyperion appears to be a Eurasian (Siberian) Lynx. He stands 3’ tall at the shoulder, is 5’ long from head to tail, and weighs about 125 lbs. Golden (bronze) fur with black stripes. Solid black stub-tail (6”). His eyes are notably off being slightly too large and bright emerald green. He claims to have an IQ of 223, but that’s because he took an internet IQ test and adjusted the numbers to correct for what they got wrong.

Unlike many other characters, Hyperion doesn’t have any special powers, unless you count the inexplicable lengths the others are willing to go to put up with him. If asked for his three most defining attributes, most would go with: sarcasm, disdain, and an over-inflated superiority complex. To those he calls his friends, he’s an ally few could hope for, but that doesn’t exempt them from his observations on humanity.

Hyperion refuses to tell anyone where he came from, or how he came to be on North Turner Mountain. It’s a mystery, even to those he trusts, what government or corporate lab made him, and whether he escaped, or was kicked out.

Hyperion and Meagan share a psychic link that allows them to sense each other’s presence and emotional state, plus allows them to understand each other’s languages.
